My name is Maria Melgarejo, and I am the founder of GLOW International.
In 2016, I spent two weeks on a mission trip to a small town in Northwest Honduras. What I thought was a simple outreach turned into a calling as I witnessed first-hand the poverty of a third-world country. With my ability to speak the local language I was able to understand more fully the needs of the community and discovered that there were resources available that no one knew about. I asked myself, “What would happen if I worked with partners by simply connecting the dots between organizations and ministries? Before my two weeks were over, GLOW International was born.

To connect existing resources with at-risk communities to improve lives and bring hope.

To identify existing resources in the areas of education, nutrition, health/hygiene, and spiritual development.
