What a Summer We Have Had!
God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

Team 1 came from Lifepointe Church, in Fort Mill, S. C.
They were small but mighty! Lifepointe partnered with GLOW to expand the soup kitchen and construct a computer Lab for ESL education and students in the education sponsorship program. This team also spent time with children from the special needs school in the community and went on an adventure planting trees to help the environment.
Team 2 from Fivestones Church in Waxhaw, N.C.
Team 2 brought the fun with a high-energy VBS teaching kids about how to worship through the Psalms! The team also worked on the expansion to the sanctuary, the computer lab, and the soup kitchen.
Team 3 came from Lifepointe Church, in Fort Mill, S. C.
Lifepointe Church returned for week 3 with an incredible team of youth! They worked their hearts out doing construction in the morning and VBS in the afternoon. Besides continuing the projects started by teams 1 & 2, Lifepointe youth took on digging a well, an unexpected task.
Team 4 represented several different churches.
Team 4 came together to serve MNE in their first marriage conference. People from El Eden and El Ochote attended and learned how to understand your partners love language. The team helped lead break out sessions including the introduction of the “newlywed game” which was quite a hit! Many people are now planning weddings, and there was at least one proposal during a small group session! Team 4 also was involved in a Bible distribution, a shoe giveaway, and a pizza party for the kids in the educational sponsorship program.
Praise God for all of the projects that were finished! The expansion of the soup kitchen and sanctuary, the computer lab, the driveway, and the soup kitchen-sanctuary connector are now complete! Many thanks to the GLOW family for all your support this year, we could not do it with out you!
